Boy Scout, Girl Scout, Cub
Scout and Brownie Troops join us and the Prudence Wright
Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution on
Memorial Day. The children and adults form into small groups
and locate Veterans graves where they place a flag, read the
Veterans name aloud, and salute, this simple dignified
ceremony is repeated for every Veteran buried at the Park
Street Cemetery. To say the least it is very moving to see
and hear the children Honor and remember those who served.
The graves go all the way back to the American Revolution.
